Golden Stone is a charming holiday house in the heart of Noto – the European Capital of Baroque. The restored residence built in 18th century is located between the quiet alleyways of the Mannarazze quarter 300 meters from the main walking street and the cathedral.
This project of hospitality is the result of the conservative restoration of an antique eighteenth century palazzo, now protected as a landmark in the city declared by UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005, is the ideal place for your holiday in Sicily.
Charming and cosy holiday house has two bedrooms each with a bathroom, flat screen TV and air conditioning, elegant antique furniture, ceramic of Sicilian designers, modern elements, typical Sicilian stone walls all that creates a unique atmosphere in the heart of the baroque.
The name of the house was inspired by reflection of the sunset colours on the stone walls of Noto which seem golden at the dusk hour.

Room The Wall (14 sqm) takes its name from the ancient stone wall of Noto discovered during the restoration and left deliberately as it was. Modern and past decor create a beautiful frame. The room has a balcony that overlooks the quaint little alleyways. The private bathroom has a large shower, toilet and bidet, and a designer marble washbasin. The Wall features a king-size bed, 32-inch flat-screen TV and air conditioning.
An intimate and laid back environment, with en suite bathroom featuring precious marbles. This room (12 sqm) takes its name from an element that characterizes the bathroom, a basin made of Hungarian marble slab mounted manually with a chisel using an ancient technique dating to the Roman era called “Opus Incertum”. It has a 24-inch flat-screen TV, air conditioning, wardrobe, bedside tables and a flat-panel TV. The large, bright bathroom has a shower, toilet, washbasin and bidet.
An intimate and welcoming outdoor space overlooking the roofs of the historic center of Noto, where you can have breakfast in the morning, relax during the day reading a book and sipping good wine and have dinner in the evening with your family or friends.

GoldenStone is located 300 meters from than the main street of Noto, close to the noble buildings of Via Cavour, exactly in Vico Salamina 14 (accessible only on foot).

By foot: From Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the main pedestrian street of Noto, go up to the Church of San Francesco to the Immacolata the ascent of via Dogali and Saati, continue on via Ascenzio Maugeri, at the level of the civic 22 take a right, the Tafaro street, then the first left to Salamina to the civic 14.
By car: You can park near the house on via Ascenzio Mauceri, or at the public car park of Via Cavour and continue on foot to the right.
